BMW X4 I (F26) (2014-2018)
Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may differ slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, remove the rubber seal.
-unscrew the six screws (twisted from top to bottom), which are the top of the bumper.
-from the bottom side, unscrew the screws (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the bottom of the bumper.
-wheel the wheels to the side.
-take out the caps that secure the lining of the arches.
-release the lining of the arches from the bumper (hold on to the latches, pull towards you).
-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the wheel arch liners (front part).
-unscrew the screws that secure the sides of the bumper.
-release the clips in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper down and towards ourselves).
-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires and hoses).
-we disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment.
- (if any) disconnect the headlight washer hoses (liquid may leak).
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-remove the lining near the taillights.
-under the pads, unscrew two nuts on each side and remove the taillights.
-unscrew the screws under the rear lights (twisted from top to bottom).
-take out the light reflectors from the bumper (they are held on the latches).
-unscrew one screw on each side under the reflectors.
-from the bottom side, unscrew the screws (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the bottom of the bumper.
-in the wheel arches, take out the caps and release the fenders from the bumper (they are held on the latches, pull towards ourselves).
-under the pads, unscrew two screws on each side that secure the sides of the bumper.
-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
-release the latches under the rear lights.
-with an assistant, we pull the bumper back (look behind the wires).
-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).
