BMW 7-Series V F01/F02/F04 (2008-2015)
Depending on the year of manufacture and the type of body, the attachment points may differ slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, remove the seal and overlays above the headlights.
-unscrew the eight screws (twisted from top to bottom), which are the top of the bumper.
-from the bottom side, unscrew the eight screws (screwed from bottom to top) that secure the lower part of the bumper.
-wheel the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel arches, Unscrew three screws on each side that secure the wheel arch liners (front part).
-we move the wheel arch liners to the side and unscrew two screws on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that attach the corners of the bumper to the fenders (you will need a knob with an extension cord).
-on the right side, behind the wheel arch liner, disconnect the electrical connectors and the headlight washer hoses (if any) (liquid may leak).
-release the clips in the wings.
-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper forward.
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the opening of the trunk, take out the caps and remove the lining near the rear lights.
-remove the taillights.
-under the rear lights, take out the caps (screws) and release the clips.
-from the bottom, take out the rivets that secure the bottom of the bumper.
-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the wheel arch liners (rear part).
-we move the wheel arch liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.
-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).
-with an assistant, we pull the bumper back (look behind the wires).
-disconnect the electrical connector.
