BMW 4-Series I (F32/F33/F36) (2013-2020)

Depending on the year of manufacture and the type of body, the attachment points may slightly differ.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, unscrew the eight screws that secure the top of the bumper.

-from the bottom, take out the caps (unscrew the screws) that secure the bottom of the bumper.

-wheel the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel arches, unscrew three screws on each side that secure the wheel arch liners (front part).

-behind the wheel arch liners, unscrew two screws on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that attach the corners of the bumper to the fenders (you need a knob with an extension cord).

-with an assistant, we pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires and hoses).

-disconnect the fog lamp connectors.

-snap off the headlight washer hoses (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, remove the lining near the rear lights (attached with caps).

-under the overlays, unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from top to bottom).

-remove the taillights (you can leave them alone, but it will be easier this way).

-from the bottom side, unscrew the screws (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the bottom of the bumper.

-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the wheel arch liners (rear part).

-in the wheel arches, unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders.

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-release the clips under the rear lights.

-with an assistant, we pull the bumper back (look behind the wires).

-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).
