BMW 3-series VI (F30, F31, F34, F35) (2011-2020)

Depending on the year of manufacture and the type of body, the attachment points may differ slightly.

Front bumper

 

-open the hood.

-under the hood, unscrew the eight screws (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the bumper.

-from the bottom side, unscrew ten screws (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the lower part.

-we turn the wheels to the side, depending on which side we will disassemble.

-in the wheel arches, unscrew three screws on each side that secure the wheel arches (front part).

-takes the wheel arch liners to the side, and unscrew two screws on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners of the bumper to the fenders (you need a knob with an extension cord).

-with an assistant, we pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires and hoses).

-disconnect the fog lamp connectors.

-snap off the headlight washer hoses (if any).

Rear bumper

 

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, take out the caps and remove the lining near the rear lights.

-unscrew two nuts on each side and remove the taillights.

-from the bottom side, unscrew the nine screws (screwed from bottom to top).

-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the wheel arch liners.

-unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-unscrew one screw on each side under the taillights.

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-release the clips under the rear lights.

-with an assistant, we pull the bumper back (look behind the wires).

-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).
