How to remove front and rear bumper Peugeot 3008 (2008-2016)

Peugeot 3008 I (2008-2016)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, unscrew the screws and take out the caps (twisted and inserted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the front bumper to the lining.

-on the perimeter of the lower part, unscrew the screws (spun up).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-unscrew the screws and release the fender liner (front).

-for the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side (spun down) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the sides of the bumper from the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you).

-we release the latches that secure the upper part of the front bumper (you need to press with a flat screwdriver).

-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, in the side parts, take out two pistons.

-in the wheel wells, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner (rear).

-for the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side (spun down) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-from the bottom, unscrew the three screws and take out the six caps (spun up).

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the rear bumper towards you).

-we release the latches under the rear lights.

-we release the latches in the opening of the trunk (you need to pry with a flat screwdriver).

-with an assistant, pull the rear bumper back (be careful not to break the wires).

-on the right side, disconnect the electrical connector.
