Lexus IS III XE30 (2014-2024) IS 200t, IS 250, IS 300, IS 350, IS 500, IS300h.

Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting locations may vary slightly.

How to remove the front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, take out the nine pistons (inserted from top to bottom) and remove the plastic trim.

-under the trim, take out the four pistons and unscrew the three screws that secure the upper part of the front bumper and the radiator grille.

- (if any) on the back side of the radiator grille, disconnect the electrical connector.

-around the perimeter of the lower part, unscrew the eight screws and take out the two pistons (twisted and inserted from the bottom up).

-turn the wheels depending on which side we will disassemble.

-in the wheel arches we take out the pistons and release the clamps that secure the fender liners (front part).

-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners to the wings.

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you.

-release the latches under the headlights.

-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper forward (watch the wires).

-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment.

How to remove the rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the trunk opening we take out two plugs (it’s tedious to pry them off with a flat object)

-under the plugs, Unscrew the two screws that secure the upper part of the rear bumper.

-from the bottom we take out six pistons (inserted from bottom to top) that secure the lower part.

-in the wheel arches we release the fender liners (rear part).

-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners to the wings (you will need a 10 mm socket with an extension).

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners toward you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (watch the wires).

-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment.
