Lexus GS II S160 (1998-2005) GS 300, GS 350, GS 430.
Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting locations may vary slightly.
How to remove the front bumper
-open the hood.
-near the headlights, unscrew the four bolts (twisted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the front bumper.
-from the bottom, unscrew ten bolts (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the protection of the engine compartment and the fender liner.
-turn the wheels depending on which side we will disassemble.
-in the wheel arches we release the fender liners (front part).
-behind the fender liners, unscrew one screw and two nuts on each side that secure the sides to the wings.
-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper forward (watch the wires and hoses).
-disconnect the fog lamp connectors.
-disconnect the turn signal connectors (if any).
-if there are headlight washers, disconnect the hoses.
How to remove the rear bumper
You will need a socket head with an extension.
-open the trunk lid.
-take out the pistons and remove the rear panel trim.
-behind the rear panel trim, unscrew the four nuts.
-we release the side trim of the trunk.
-in the inner part of the wings, unscrew the four nuts below the rear lights and four (two) screws.
-from the bottom we take out two pistons and unscrew the four screws (twisted and inserted from the bottom up) that secure the lower part.
-in the wheel arches we release the fender liners (rear part).
-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (twisted from bottom to top) that secure the corners to the wings and pull out the plastic clips into which these screws are screwed. (if any, depends on the year of manufacture) unscrew one nut on each side that secures the sides to the wings.
-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (watch the wires).
-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).
