Lexus RX III AL20 (2016-2022), RX 200t, RX 300, RX 350, RX 450h.
Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting locations may vary slightly.
How to remove the front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, take out the nine pistons and remove the trim.
-under the trim, pull out the two hood stops and unscrew the four screws that secure the radiator grille and the upper part of the front bumper.
-turn the wheels depending on which side you will disassemble.
-in the wheel arches we take out the pistons that secure the arch linings (front part). Please note that some of the pistons are hidden behind the bumper.
-we release the arch lining from the clamps (you need to carefully pull it towards you from the bottom up).
-under the arch trims, take out one piston on each side that secures the corners to the wings.
-unscrew the eight screws from the bottom (twisted from bottom to top).
-release the latches in the wings and under the headlights (pull the corners toward you)
-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper towards you.
-remove the connectors of the electrical equipment.
-if there are headlight washers, disconnect the hoses (liquid may leak, you should prepare a container).
How to remove the rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the trunk opening, remove two trims near the rear lights (held on by latches).
-under the trims, unscrew the two screws that secure the upper part of the rear bumper.
-from the bottom, unscrew the six screws and take out the four pistons that secure the lower part.
-in the wheel ones, take out the caps and unscrew the screws that secure the arch linings (rear part).
-release the arch lining from the latches (pull it towards you from bottom to top).
-under the arch trims, take out one piston on each side that secures the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners toward you).
-release the latches under the rear lights.
-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper back (make sure not to break the wires).
-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment.
