How to remove front and rear bumper Lexus CT

Front bumper

-under the hood take out the caps (inserted upside down) and remove the cover.

-under the pickguard, Unscrew the screws and take out the clips that secure the grille and the upper bumper section (it is recommended to Unscrew the two screws mounting the bumper directly in front of the withdrawal).

-Unscrew the screws and take out the caps (twisted and inserted from the bottom up) around the perimeter in the bottom part that attach the wheel arches and protection.

-wrenched the wheel to the left or right side, depending on which side of the bed will be dismantled.

-wheel arches take out two pistons on each side and removed the fender liner.

-attach the fender liner to the side and Unscrew one screw on each side (spun upwards) holding the corners to the wings.

-with the assistant release the latch in the wings and under the headlights, bumper pulls gently on yourself.

-remove the connectors from the fog lights (if any).

-remove connector from the PDC (if any).

-if you have headlight washers, disconnect the hose (should prepare a container, which will merge a liquid).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid and a flat screwdriver and pull out on the corners of the opening two plugs.

-under the plugs, Unscrew the screws.

-on the perimeter in the lower part and pull out the caps and Unscrew the screws that secure the lower part of the bumper.

-wheel arches Unscrew one screw on each side that secure the upper corners.

-with an assistant, carefully release the clips in the fenders, under the rear lights and opening boot.

-pulls the bumper itself.

-remove the electrical connectors (if any).
