How to remove the front and rear bumper Dodge Neon (2000-2005)
Dodge Neon II (SRT4) (2000-2005)
Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, unscrew the three screws (if any, take out the caps) that secure the upper part of the bumper.
-turn the wheels to the side.
-from the bottom, unscrew the screws that secure the protection.
-in the wheel arches, we release the fender liner (front).
-behind the fender liner, we unscrew three rails on each side (twisted from the bottom up) that attach the sides of the bumper to the wings (you can remove the headlights, it will be more convenient)
-with an assistant, we release the sides and pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).
-disconnect the connectors from the electrical equipment (if any).
-in the opening of the trunk, Unscrew the four screws (spun down).
-in the wheel wells, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner (rear).
-behind the fender liner, Unscrew three nuts on each side that secure the sides of the bumper to the wings (spun up) (distant nuts can be Unscrewed through the openings of the rear lights).
-unscrew the two screws at the bottom of the bumper (spun up).
-with an assistant, we release the sides and pull the bumper back (look for the wires).
-disconnect the license plate lighting connectors.
