How to remove front and rear bumper Dodge Durango (1998-2003)

Dodge Durango I DN (1998-2003)

Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the attachment points may vary slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-near the headlights, unscrew two bolts on each side (spun down).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-(if any) unscrew three screws on each side in the wheel arches that secure the fender liner (front).

-climb under the car.

-disconnect electrical connectors.

-unscrew two bolts on each side that attach the brackets to the spars.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward.

Rear bumper

-wheel arches take out three pistons on each side.

-climb under the car.

-disconnect electrical connectors.

-unscrew the nuts securing the bumper support brackets to the rear rails and cross member.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back.
