How to remove front and rear bumper Dodge Grand Caravan (2007-2020)

Dodge Grand Caravan V (2007-2020)

Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the attachment points may vary slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out two pistons and Unscrew the two screws that secure the grille and the upper part of the bumper.

-at the bottom of the bumper take out the four pistons (inserted from the bottom up).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells take out two pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (front).

-behind the fender liner, one screw on each side that secures the corners of the bumper to the fenders.

-with an assistant, release the latches in the wings (pull the corners towards you) and pull them forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect connectors from electrical equipment.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, Unscrew the two screws and remove the taillights (when installing, note that the taillight mounts enter the body through the bumper).

-unscrew the four screws that secure the upper part of the bumper.

-in the wheel wells take out three pistons on each side that secure the sides of the bumper and fender liner.

-take out the four pistons from the bottom.

-with an assistant, release the latches in the wings and pull the bumper back (look behind the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
