Dodge Charger LX VI (2005-2010)
Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the attachment points may vary slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, unscrew one screw on each side (hidden at the junction of the wings and bumper).
-take out eight caps (inserted from top to bottom) that secure the upper part of the bumper.
-at the bottom of the bumper, Unscrew the nine screws (spun up).
-turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel wells take out the caps that secure the fender liner (front).
-remove the fender liner to the side, unscrew two screws (spun up) and one nut on each side that attach the sides of the bumper to the wings.
-remove the direction indicators (you need to press from the inside on the lever).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).
-disconnect connectors from electrical equipment.
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the opening of the trunk, we take out three pistons (two stops of the trunk lid).
-in the trunk, we release the side trim.
-behind the skins, in the inner part of the wings, unscrew one screw on each side (spun down).
-wheel arches take out three pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (rear).
-unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-with an assistant, pull the bumper back from the guides in the wings (look for the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors.
