  • Vauxhall Mokka — in the UK. Here, Opel changed its name to Vauxhall while retaining the same technical specifications and design.

  • Holden Mokka — in Australia and New Zealand. Holden, as a local GM brand, also adapted the model for its market.

The Opel Mokka A has the factory code J13. It is a typical representative of compact crossovers with a 5-door SUV body. How to Remove the Front Bumper

 

  1. Lift and secure the hood.

  2. To access the upper screws, remove eight clips and take off the cover above the radiators.

  3. Under the cover, unscrew six screws that secure the top of the front bumper and the radiator grille. When reinstalling, do not mix up the screws, as they are of different sizes.

  4. Move to the lower side. From underneath, unscrew ten screws.

  5. Proceed to the wheel arches. For convenience, turn the wheels to the side.

  6. Unscrew three screws on each side and free the front part of the wheel arch liners.

  7. Release the wheel arch extensions from the bumper. They are held by internal clips. Insert your hand behind the wheel arch, squeeze the clips one by one, and pull the extension toward you.

  8. Unscrew one screw on each side that secures the corners to the fenders.

  9. Release the clips in the fenders by pulling the corners toward you.

  10. With the help of an assistant, remove the bumper forward, paying attention to the wires.

  11. Disconnect the connectors of the temperature sensor, fog lights, and parking assist sensors (if installed).

  12. The bumper is removed. Installation is done in reverse order.

How to Remove the Rear Bumper

  1. Lift the tailgate.

  2. In the trunk opening, remove two caps and unscrew the screws underneath that secure the rear lights.

  3. In the side trunk linings, open the covers and access the rear of the rear lights.

  4. Disconnect the power connectors, unscrew three nuts on each side, release the mounts in the fenders, and remove the rear lights.

  5. From underneath, unscrew two screws and remove six clips.

  6. In the wheel arches, unscrew three screws on each side that secure the wheel arch liners and one screw that secures the corners to the brackets in the fenders.

  7. Release the wheel arch extensions from the bumper and partially from the fenders. They are held by internal clips.

  8. Release the clips in the fenders by gently pulling the corners toward you.

  9. Release the clips under the rear lights using a flathead screwdriver.

  10. Release the clips in the trunk opening.

  11. Remove the bumper backward. Be careful with the wires.

  12. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Model Description
