How to Remove the Front Bumper

 

  1. Open the hood.

  2. Unscrew the six screws under the hood, which are screwed from top to bottom and secure the upper part of the front bumper.

  3. Move under the car and unscrew the five hex bolts and two Torx screws that secure the lower part.

  4. Turn the steering wheel to the side.

  5. On both sides, in the wheel arches, unscrew the four screws.

  6. Release the corners from the brackets in the fenders, reach behind the wheel liner, and pull toward yourself.

  7. With the help of an assistant, remove the bumper forward, paying attention to the wires.

  8. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  9. Reinstallation is performed in reverse order.

How to Remove the Rear Bumper

  1. Open the trunk.

  2. In the trunk opening, unscrew the two screws.

  3. Move to the lower part. Under the car, unscrew the two hex bolts, four Torx screws, and remove the two clips.

  4. In the wheel arches, unscrew three screws on each side, which secure the wheel liners.

  5. Move the wheel liners aside and unscrew one bolt on each side, screwed from top to bottom.

  6. Now, release the fixing bars that secure the sides to the fenders. Grab the bar with your hands and pull toward yourself. Then, pull the corner of the bumper downward and toward yourself.

  7. Release the clips under the rear lights.

  8. Release the clips in the trunk opening.

  9. With the help of an assistant, remove the bumper backward, being careful not to damage the wires.

  10. Disconnect the connectors for the signal lights and parking assist system.

  11. Reinstallation is performed in reverse order.
