Chrysler 300M (Concorde II) (1998-2004)
Depending on the year of manufacture and body type, the attachment points differ.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood take out the caps (inserted from top to bottom) that secure the top.
-take out the caps around the perimeter at the bottom (inserted from the bottom up).
-turn the wheels left or right, depending on which side you will disassemble.
-in the wheel wells take out the caps and release the fender liner.
-for the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that secure the corners.
-there are holes in the fender liner through which, according to the instructions (using a long wrench), you need to unscrew the nuts under the headlights, in practice it is more convenient to move the fender liner to the side
-with an assistant, we pull the bumper from the guides towards ourselves (we look for wires and hoses).
-remove connectors from electrical equipment (if any).
-disconnect the headlight washer hoses (if any).
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the opening of the trunk take out the caps.
-remove the lining of the trunk (you need to gain access to the inside of the wings).
-for the skins, unscrew the two nuts.
-from the trunk, unscrew the nuts and remove the rear lights.
-under the rear lights take out the caps.
-wheel arches take out three pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (rear).
-move the fender liner to the side and unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-unscrew the screws from the bottom (spun up).
-with an assistant, pull the bumper back from the guides in the wings (look for the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors.
