Chrysler Neon II (1999-2005)
Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, unscrew the two screws (spun down) that secure the top of the bumper.
-unscrew the three screws in the lower grille (spun up).
-unscrew the screws at the bottom of the bumper (spun up) that secure the protection.
-turn the wheels to the side.
-in the wheel wells, unscrew two screws on each side that secure the fender liner (front).
-bend the fender liner to the side and Unscrew three nuts on each side (spun up) that secure the sides of the bumper to the wings.
-with an assistant, we release the bumper from the studs in the wings and pull it forward (look for the wires).
-remove connectors from electrical equipment.
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-in the opening of the trunk take out four pistons (inserted from top to bottom).
-remove the side trim of the trunk.
-for the skins, unscrew the nuts that secure the sides of the bumper.
-in the wheel arches, unscrew two screws on each side, which are the fender liner (rear).
-for the fender liner, unscrew the nuts that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.
-unscrew the two screws from the bottom (spun up).
-with an assistant, we release the corners and pull the bumper back (look for the wires).
-disconnect electrical connectors.
