How to remove front and rear bumper Chrysler Crossfire

Chrysler Crossfire (2003-2008)

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, unscrew two (four) screws and remove the grille.

-unscrew the two screws (spun down) that secure the upper part of the bumper.

-on the perimeter of the lower part we take out three pistons (inserted from the bottom up).

-unscrew the two nuts from the side of the engine compartment (near the fog lights).

-turn the wheels left or right, depending on which side you will disassemble.

-in the wheel wells take out the caps that secure the fender liner (front).

-for the fender liner, unscrew the screws and nuts (spun up) that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-take out the direction indicators and disconnect the connectors.

-with an assistant, pull the corners of the bumper down and pull it forward (look for the wires).

-remove connectors from electrical equipment.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, Unscrew the two screws.

-remove the lining of the rear trunk panel.

-from the trunk, unscrew the four nuts.

-unscrew three nuts on each side and remove the rear lights.

-under the rear lights, unscrew the two screws.

-unscrew the screws from the bottom that secure the protection.

-in the wheel wells, unscrew the screws that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
