How to remove the front and rear bumper Suzuki XL7 (2006-2009)

Suzuki XL7 II (2006-2009)

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out the four pistons and remove the trim.

-under the trim take out the caps that secure the grille and the upper part of the bumper.

-take out two pistons (inserted from the bottom up) in the lower bumper grille.

-from the bottom take out the caps.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner and bumper corners.

-we release the clips in the wings and clips under the hood.

-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, remove the two plugs.

-under the plugs, unscrew the two screws.

-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner and side of the bumper to the wings.

-from the bottom take out the caps (inserted from the bottom up).

-we release the sides from the clamps in the wings (pull the corners back).

-with an assistant, pull the rear bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
