How to remove front and rear bumper Suzuki Vitara (2015-2023)

Suzuki Vitara IV LY (2015-2023)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may differ.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out the four pistons and remove the grille up (holds on latches).

-under the grille, unscrew the four screws (spun down) that secure the top of the bumper.

-from the bottom, unscrew ten screws (spun up).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel arches, we take out the caps and release the lining of the arches from the bumper (they are held on by latches, pull upwards towards you).

-under the overlays, unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the corners of the bumper from the latches in the wings (pull towards you).

-we release the upper part of the front bumper from the latches under the hood.

-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires).

-on the left side in the direction of travel, disconnect the electrical connector.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-unscrew two screws on each side and pull off the rear lights.

-unscrew the two screws in the opening of the trunk.

-in the wheel arches, we release the lining of the arches from the latches in the bumper (you need to pry off the bottom and pull towards you).

-for the overlays, unscrew one screw and take out one piston on each side that secure the sides of the bumper.

-from the bottom, unscrew the two screws and take out the four pistons (twisted and inserted from the bottom up).

-we release the latch in the wings (take the corners of the bumper and pull towards you).

-we release the latches under the rear lights.

-with an assistant, pull the rear bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
