How to remove the front and rear bumper Suzuki Alto (2009-2014)

Suzuki Alto VII (HA25) (2009-2014)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, unscrew the two screws and take out the two pistons that secure the upper part of the bumper.

-from the bottom, take out the caps (inserted from the bottom up) that secure the lower part.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells, unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, Unscrew the three screws

-in the wheel wells, unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the rear bumper to the wings.

-from the bottom, unscrew the screws and take out the caps.

-take out one piston between the bumper and the body that secures the bracket.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the rear bumper back (be careful not to break the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
