How to remove front and rear bumper Suzuki Wagon R+ (2000-2008)

Suzuki Wagon R+ II (2000-2008)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may differ.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out two pistons and unscrew the screws that secure the upper part of the bumper.

-at the bottom, take out the caps.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel arches, we release the fender liner and unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latches in the wings and clips under the hood.

-with an assistant, gently pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, unscrew the four screws.

-unscrew two screws each and remove the rear lights.

-unscrew the two screws under the rear lights.

-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner and side of the bumper to the wings.

-from the bottom take out the caps between the bumper and the body.

-with an assistant, pull the rear bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
