How to remove front and rear bumper Skoda Kodiaq

Skoda Kodiaq I (2016+)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may vary slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, unscrew the four screws (spun down) that secure the grille trim.

-around the perimeter of the lower part, unscrew the twelve screws (spun up) that secure the engine protection, fender liner and wing lining.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells, unscrew three screws on each side that secure the fender liner (front).

-move the fenders to the side.

-we release the lining of the wings from the bumper (hold on the latches, pull the bottom towards you, at the same time squeeze the latches with your fingers from the inside of the bumper).

-for the fender liner, Unscrew two screws on each side (spun down) that secure the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires and hoses).

-disconnect electrical connectors.

-(if any) disconnect the headlight washer hoses.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, remove the trim (holds on latches, pull up).

-under the trim, in the corners of the opening, unscrew the two fasteners.

-at the bottom of the bumper, unscrew the six screws and take out the four pistons (twisted and inserted from the bottom up).

-in the wheel wells, unscrew three screws on each side that secure the fender liner (rear).

-we release the lining of the wings from the bumper (hold on the latches, pull the bottom towards you, at the same time squeeze the latches with your fingers from the inside of the bumper).

-unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latches in the wings and under the rear lights (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
