How to remove front and rear bumper Acura RLX (2012-2020)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points may differ.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, remove the trim over the grille (attached with clips).

-under the trim take out the caps (inserted from top to bottom).

-around the bottom of the bumper, take out the caps and Unscrew the screws.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner (front).

-unscrew one screw on each side that secures the sides of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latches in the wings and under the headlights (blue arrows, pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect the electrical connectors on the right side.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk take out two covers.

-under the covers, Unscrew the screws.

-at the bottom of the bumper take out the caps (screws).

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner.

-unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latches in the wings and under the rear lights (blue arrows, pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
