How to remove front and rear bumper Acura MDX (2014-2020)

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, release the latches (pull up) and remove the trim over the grille.

-under the trim take out the seven caps that secure the upper part of the bumper.

-around the bottom of the bumper take out the caps and Unscrew the screws (twisted and inserted from the bottom up).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel arches, Unscrew three screws on each side that secure the fender liner (front) and the sides of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latches in the wings and under the headlights (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look behind the wires and hoses).

-disconnect electrical connectors.

-disconnect the headlight washer hoses.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-we release the lower part of the trunk seal (pull towards you).

-near the taillights, remove the two pads (hold on latches, you need to pry with a flat screwdriver).

-unscrew the four screws in the opening of the trunk.

-take out the two pistons and Unscrew the four screws (twisted and inserted from the bottom up) that secure the bottom of the bumper.

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner.

-unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latches in the wings and under the rear lights (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
