How to remove front and rear bumper Acura RDX (2012-2018)

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out ten caps (inserted from top to bottom) and remove the trim over the grille.

-under the trim take out the three pistons that secure the top of the bumper.

-around the perimeter of the lower part of the bumper, take out eleven caps (inserted from the bottom up).

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner (front).

-Unscrew one screw on each side that secures the sides of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-we release the latches under the headlights.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-we release the lower part of the trunk seal (pull towards you).

-near the rear lights, remove the two covers (held by latches).

-unscrew the four screws in the opening of the trunk.

-around the perimeter of the lower part of the bumper take out six caps.

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws that secure the fender liner.

-unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-we release the latch in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-we release the latches under the rear lights.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).
