Infiniti QX50 II / QX55 (2017-2023) bumper removal.

Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting locations may vary slightly.

Front bumper

The front bumper is removed along with the radiator grille.

-open the hood.

-under the hood, take out the six pistons (inserted from top to bottom), which secure the radiator grille to the engine compartment protection (if you need to remove the protection, take out the remaining pistons).

-at the bottom of the front bumper, unscrew ten screws (twisted from bottom to top).

-turn the wheels depending on which side we will disassemble.

-in the wheel arches we take out three pistons on each side, which secure the arch linings and fender liners (front part) to the sides of the bumper.

-release the arch lining (the front part, pull it towards you from bottom to top).

-behind the trims, take out one piston on each side that secures the corners to the wings.

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners toward you).

-release the latches under the headlights (pull towards yourself).

-with an assistant, carefully pull the bumper forward (make sure not to break the wires).

-we release the connectors of the fog lights and other electrical equipment (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the trunk opening, remove the plastic covers near the rear lights (they are held on by latches, you need to pry it and pull it towards you).

-under the trims, unscrew two screws on each side, release them from the fasteners (indicated by blue arrows) and remove the rear lights.

-take out the two pistons and unscrew the two screws that secure the upper part of the rear bumper.

-from the bottom, unscrew the four screws and take out the four pistons.

-in the wheel arches, unscrew the screws that secure the arch linings and fender liners (rear part).

-we release the arch linings from the bumper (they are held on by latches, we pull them towards us from the bottom up).

-move the fender liners to the side and unscrew one screw on each side that secures the corners to the wings.

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-release the latches in the trunk opening.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (make sure not to break the wires).

-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment.
