Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting points may differ.
Front bumper
-open the hood.
-under the hood, pull out four pistons (inserted from top to bottom), which attach the top part.
-turn the wheels out of the way.
-in the wheel arches, we Unscrew the screws that fasten the undercarriage (the front part).
-we take the slats aside and Unscrew the screws (screwed from the bottom up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the fenders.
-from the bottom side, pull out the pistons that attach the lower part.
-with an assistant, we pull the bumper forward.
-remove the connector from the fog lights (if present).
Rear bumper
-open the trunk lid.
-from the trunk, we Unscrew the nuts and remove the tail lights.
-pull out the pistons that attach the upper part.
-pull out the pistons from the bottom side (inserted from the bottom up).
-in the wheel arches, we Unscrew the screws that attach the undercarriage.
-Unscrew the screws that attach the corners of the bumper to the fenders.
-with an assistant, we pull the bumper back.
-remove connectors from electrical equipment.
