How to remove the front and rear bumper Pontiac G3

Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting positions and body type differ.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, pull out the pistons that attach the radiator grille and top.

-turn the wheels out of the way.

-in the wheel arches, we release the undercarriage (the front part).

-we move the slats to the side and Unscrew two screws on each side, which attach the corners of the bumper to the fenders.

-Unscrew the screws on the bottom side.

-Unscrew the screws that attach the amplifier to the body.

-with an assistant, we pull off the bumper (look for the wires).

-disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the trunk, we are releasing the panels.

-behind the side panels (in the inner part of the wings), we Unscrew the nuts and screws that fasten the sides of the bumper.

-Unscrew four screws in the trunk opening.

-Unscrew the screws and pull out the pistons from the bottom side.

-in the wheel arches, we Unscrew the screws that attach the undercarriage.

-behind the slats, we Unscrew the screws that fasten the corners of the bumper to the fenders.

-with the assistant carefully pull off the bumper (look for the wires).

-disconnect the electrical connectors.
