How to remove front and rear bumper Lancia Thema

Lancia Thema II (2011-2014)

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood take out eight caps that secure the upper part of the bumper.

-around the perimeter of the lower part of the bumper take out the caps that secure the engine protection.

-turn the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel wells take out three pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (front).

-for the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-release the latches under the hood (pull up) and in the wings (pull towards you), indicated in the diagram with blue arrows.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-wheel arches take out four pistons on each side that secure the fender liner (rear).

-for the fender liner, unscrew one screw on each side (spun up) that attach the corners of the bumper to the wings.

-unscrew the six screws from the bottom.

-we release the latch in the wings.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
