How to remove front and rear bumper Scion iQ

The attachment points may differ depending on the year of manufacture.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, take out the five rivets that secure the upper part of the bumper.

-Unscrew eight screws from the bottom.

-wheel the wheels to the side.

-in the wheel arches, take out the rivets (you need to turn them 90 degrees) that secure the wheel arch liners (front part).

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-with an assistant, we pull the bumper forward (we look behind the wires).

-disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, Unscrew the two screws.

-from the bottom side, unscrew the four screws (screwed from bottom to top).

-in the wheel arches, Unscrew the screws that secure the wheel arches and the sides of the bumper.

-we release the fittings in the wheel arches.

-release the latches in the wings (pull the corners of the bumper towards you).

-release the latches under the rear lights and in the trunk opening.

-with an assistant, we pull the bumper back (look behind the wires).

-we disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment.
