How to remove front and rear bumper Buick Rainier

Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting points may differ slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-release the latches and remove the radiator grille.

-under the radiator grille, we Unscrew the screws and pull out the piston, which attach the upper part.

-pull out the pistons in the lower radiator grille (inserted from the bottom up).

-turn the wheels out of the way.

-from the side of the wheel, Unscrew one screw at the bottom.

-we move the wing flaps to the side and release the retainers (you need to press), which attach the corners to the wings.

-with an assistant, we pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, we Unscrew seven screws.

-in the wheel arches, we Unscrew two screws on each side, which attach the undercarriage and bumper sides.

-pull the pistons out from the bottom side.

-carefully pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).
