How to remove the front and rear bumper Buick Park Avenue (1997-2005)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting points may differ slightly.

Front bumper

-from the bottom side, we Unscrew the screws that secure the engine protection.

-turn the wheels out of the way.

-in the wheel arches, we Unscrew the screws that fasten the undercarriage (the front part).

-Unscrew two nuts on each side, which attach the sides of the bumper.

-with an assistant, we pull the bumper forward from the retainers in the fenders (look for the wires).

-disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-remove the rear and bend off the side panels of the trunk.

-we're screwing the nuts out of the trunk.

-release the locks in the trunk opening.

-in the wheel arches, we Unscrew the screws that fasten the undercarriage and bumper sides.

-carefully pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect the electrical connectors.
