How to remove front and rear bumper GMC Envoy (2002-2009)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the mounting points may differ slightly.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-release the top from the latches with a flat screwdriver, release the bottom from the latches and remove the radiator grille.

-under the grill, we Unscrew two screws and pull out the pistol.

-turn the wheels out of the way.

-in the wheel wells, Unscrew the screws holding the fender liner (front part) and the sides of the bumper.

-pull the pistons out from the bottom side.

-release the retainers in the wings.

-with an assistant, we pull the bumper forward.

-remove the connectors of the turn indicators and fog lights.

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-in the opening of the trunk, we Unscrew seven screws.

-in the wheel arches, we Unscrew the screws that fasten the undercarriage and bumper sides.

-from the bottom side, we pull out four pistons.

-with the assistant carefully pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect the electrical equipment connectors (if any).
