How to remove the front and rear bumper Kia Shuma

Kia Shuma I-II (1997-2004)

Depending on the year of manufacture, the attachment points differ.

Front bumper

-open the hood.

-under the hood, unscrew the screws that secure the upper part of the bumper (radiator grille).

-take out the caps (inserted from the bottom up) that secure the lower part of the bumper.

-unscrew three nuts on each side of the wings.

-take out the caps (inserted from the bottom up) in the lower grille.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper forward (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors (if any).

Rear bumper

-open the trunk lid.

-remove the rear lights.

-unscrew the screws in the opening of the trunk and under the rear lights.

-unscrew three nuts on each side of the wings.

-from the bottom take out the caps.

-with an assistant, pull the bumper back (look for the wires).

-disconnect electrical connectors.
